irishroy 1347 Posted August 2, 2014 (edited) Like above, under, or on the side of a backpack?Hell yeah! On the side, it could either take up a primary- or melee-slot. So players are forced to give up the melee-slot and pack the axe/whatever in the backpack. The tent would still "take up indirect" space, but smaller melee-weapons, such as a hammer or machete are encouraged to use. We also need to be able to do this:Hang all kinds of stuff to the backpack with a rope, as much as you can :D Edited August 2, 2014 by irishroy
DesertSage 15 Posted August 3, 2014 This would increase bag space and immersion. Instead of putting some big ass tent inside of a skinny mountain backpack or hunting backpack, instead attach it to the bottom of the bottom. This is used with backpackers with their tents and sleeping bags to distribute weight and have more space. Example: That is all. Increase realism and more space in bag. DesertSage 15 Posted August 3, 2014 Nice I like how they did this attach to a previous topic of same content.
irl-calibre 744 Posted August 15, 2014 I was going to suggest a low profile tent, with far less capacity for storage and maybe take up the same kind of room as a hatchet in bag. if none of the excellent suggestions above are doable.
