DayZero - DayZ Chernarus Enhanced - PvP Focus, Balanced Weapons, good Performance

Hey guys!

 

I started playing on DayZero again some weeks ago and i was overwhelmed what these guys made out of the choppy, laggy Arma 2 DayZ Mod in the meantime.

 

Experience the following when playing DayZero:

• Completely reworke Chernarus Map including: many new enterable buildings, new military spots, new PvP hotspots, lootable random car wrecks, reworked cities

• heavy performance increase Loading times from around 10seconds from Launcher until im ingame an start playing are usual for me! (This CAN differ regarding your computer specs)

• FPS FPS are just beautiful - no drops, no problems - smooth gameplay like it should be!

• reworked Zombies They are annoying, they are hard, they follow your for kilometres and punsh you in the face - these guys are better then Standalone Zombies and will get you raging - like it should be!

• Many new & balanced Weapons Experiment with using a variety of new pistols, rifles, snipers and machine guns (HK416, M4A1 SBR, UMP45 for example)

• Enhanced Sound Mod The guns dont have the usual "pew pew"-Sound like in Arma 2 - they sound like real guns! A mod similar to JSRS makes this possible and adds even more atmosphere!

• Totally redone Vehicle Salvage/Repair System Salvage a 35% Carwheel of a Taxi and repair the 75% Carwheel at your UAZ to 100% - salvage every part of an existing car to pimp your own car!

• DayZero launcher that does all the work for you An own launcher that installs DayZero (including all skins, soundmod etc) and Arma 2 Beta Versions for you, with just some clicks!

• Whitelisting system - you never played DayZ with that few hackers!

Yesterday was a blast - again!

 

Had an anwesome ambush at NWAF then fought our way to Veresnik and ended our journey near Green Mountain until today!

SE1 (Third Person) exceeds SE2 (First Person) in player numbers - come and fight us in the North on SE1!

Rain, fog and a fight involving around 15 people, a huey, an plane plus an SUV at the NWA on SE1 (Third Person)!

 

Such an adrenalin rush, enemys at all corners - come and join the fight!

Since BattlEye has updated it has broken DayZero a little bit and you're probably getting the error: DAYZERO.DLL IS MISSING when trying to join.

To fix this, try the following;
-> Open Task Manager
-> Services
-> Find "BEService"
-> Right Click -> Stop Service
-> Join the server through the DayZero Launcher.

Alternatively..

-> Join the server
-> Wait til "DAYZERO.DLL IS MISSING" Error
-> Exit back to lobby if it hasn't already.
-> Alt tab
-> Open Task Manager
-> Services
-> Find "BEService"
-> Right Click -> Stop Service
-> Alt tab back ingame and try to press OK/Join at the lobby.

New solutions for the problem:
 

Number 1

I found another solution for the dayzero.dll problem.
Since yesterday everytime i stop the BeService the game just restarts and the problem is still there.
You need to start BeService manually.
Try this:
-Start the game and wait until you`re in the lobby
-Task manager or Alt Tab and go to Desktop
-Go to (standard):
C/Programme (x86)/Common Files/Battle Eye
and start BeService_arma2oa
-Join the Game

 

Number 2

 

You may do it like:

Start -> Run:

regsvr32 "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\@DayZero\DayZero.dll"

Check path if it´s suitable for you. It complain something but just press OK and start DZ laucher and join game.

You still have to use the options shown above - but that cant stop passionate DayZ players, - right?

Problem is fixed - if you try to connect BattlEye will update and you can connect as usual!
