DayZ, to buy or not?

okey tried DayZ, cracked and i loved it! on LAN....:D , i want to play online! with everyone eles! to save money do i download Arma 2 on the website for free and then get the DLC for the price...and do i need CO? or can i just get Arrow head?

BTW played DayZ as a buyer. how many times out of 10 would you be able to actually join a server and play? without any problem...

Yes you have to buy CO. Dayz is a mod not dc.

"ArmA II Combined Operations" is just ArmA II with Operation Arrowhead. It is possible to just buy ArmA II Operation Arrowhead (It's a standalone game) and combine it with ArmA II Free, but it's not recommended. Buying the Steam Edition of Combined Operations is currently the best deal, that's what I got. :D

But aint Arma 3 going to be released? i want to see how DayZ looks on that!...i rather buy that then Arma 2! sure ill have to wait but i can! :D, the bugs and the animations in Arma 2...dont make it the realistic Zombie survival game i like, but i still play it :D

I don't know if the animations will be any better, but honestly I wouldn't understand the point to wait, unless you have plenty other games to play and are engrossed with.

It's like saying "Hey, I am gonna wait and not buy THIS graphics card, because the one coming 6 months down the road is better." Yeah, no freaking way: And six months from then, there will be ANOTHER graphics card 6 months away that is better.

Why would you buy Arma 3 and then buy Arma 2 if DayZ is good on Arma 3 O.o Also... This is the most realistic zombie surival game out there, how can it not be realistic enough for you?

(If there is a more realistic one then please inform me, because I sure don't know any)
