So..story goes like this"

I am in Elektro, just finished sweeping the fire station (daytime in game) and decide to take a cig break. Not wanting to leave my char idle and prone to being killed i disconnect/exit the game. That was on Atlanta 68 server.

I had an AKM, 4 mags for it, a G17 with 3 mags and a few misc items

Why is this relevant? 20 mins later i log back on and i spawn in Cernarus Wilderness, night time and no mags whatsoever for both the AKM and G17.

might this be a bug or WTF happened?

I have all the updates for DayZ that were released to this day. What is a Solution? I couldn't die even if I wanted to..no grenades, no zombies in sight....

@Survivor666: might not be the server..i have tried 2 diff ones and still stuck there. I will try a few more....

I think 100% lag or may be some server stuff, but mostly it will be a lag!

went on 4 diff servers, 3 in US and 1 in GER and still stuck in the wilderness...Any solutions hot to return to some sort of civ?

It sounds like you're being put in debug forest.

Try updating the Arma 2 beta (not just updating DayZ).

Go here and download the latest beta patch (top of page):

http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php/

Extract the executable in your Operation Arrowhead folder. Run it. Launch the game again. See if that helps and you stop getting tossed into debug forest.

If the beta patch doesn't work, most likely your saved location has become corrupted for your character. Right now, that will require a manual reset by the devs. Contact the devs in tech support.
