Hey guys,

So basically a friend bought me Operation Arrowhead and i use it with Arma 2 Free version (STEAM) to play DayZ.... If i buy Arma 2 from steam will i have to start over from scratch?

I don't think so, from what I understand DayZ and all that is using your OA key to keep track of your progress. So the ARMA 2 regular game shouldn't make a difference.

Ok im just gonna go ahead and take the risk thanks mate

I can confirm that upgrading from the Arma 2 Free Version to the Full version will not reset your character.

is dayz able to run with arma2 free version? and ofcourse OA? And is that that game they call demo on steam?
