Did they change the dispersion of the AKM?

I was shooting a guy yesterday at about 200 m, and holy shit, I barely made two holes in him. I only shot one or two bullets at a time but the dust behind the guy I was shooting indicated that not only was I missing, the shots were landing practically all over the place.

its still accurate, i was shooting it just today, you just have to range it correctly, if the dude wasn't moving you should have probably hit him,

 

EDIT:

 

by the way, the round the akm uses is really slow, from 600m it wakes about 2.5 seconds to hit whatever your aiming at.
