The spawning in on someone

Recommended Posts

Now myself and some mates have had the issue that I'm sure many of you had where you get completly blindsided by server hoppers joining the server in the barracks/hangers/firestations ect and shooting you in the back while your on the server you always play on and are trying to loot the place.

My suggestion to combat this is:

Have a warning system for both. While a person is receiving data (before it goes to loading) it does show the server text I believe.

I believe a warning of 'Someone is spawning within your area' and 'You are spawning in with someone in your area' would be a fantastic way to let both parties know someone is spawning in the area (Lets say that it's a 1km radius from the person spawning in. That way it's large enough that people don't have a direct location on the person and can't run looking after him. Giving the person in question a chance to load in and then both parties can be on guard with each other).

This will also could be a deterrent for server hoppers to actually not be trapped in the 'Obvious' place such as the barracks ect and have them move to a location to log out from. While this also helps the people who are trying to loot to actually watch their backs.

This also helps those who D/C only to join another server, run behind the person, then reconnect. because on most servers, they don't know who they are shooting at. So when they D/C they are in the dark. (Perhaps a warning of 'someone just disconnected in your area') and if someone spawns in the radius the person will know that they most likely D/C to change position. And can be prepared to count that.

Another idea came from a friend I play on line with.

His idea was that when you log in. You have to move a certain amount of meters before you can fire your gun. Ensuring you must log out in a safe location first hand otherwise your limited.
