Can't see buildings, client side issue.

Recommended Posts

So I had stopped playing For a while, because of the crappy bug glitch that happened a couple months ago, finally decided to revisit, and managed after much cursing, to get dayz mod working. Now I can join servers, and do stuff. But, I can't see buildings. Not only can I not see buildings, some zombies only show their head and hands, and the rest of the zombie is non existant. I figured a missing texture, and have verified file cache and reinstalled, and am having the same issue.

I'm dissapointed, Kind of thought I'd have had some input on this problem by now. Guess the Dayz Community isn't as helpful as I heard it was. Well, BUMP. Could use a hand with this.

Can you not see any buildings or just certain buildings, and what mods are you trying to play?

I can see a couple of tents in balota, but no, I can't see any actual buildings. no firehalls, no houses (even un-enterable houses) no smoke stacks, no towers, no apts, every things is gone.

Try merging your Arma 2 addons folder into your Arma 2 OA Common Files directory, overwrite all files it asks for. Total Common Files directory size should be ~8.5 gigs when done. See if that does it?
