XD No, not my work. But it's just about the only drawing I can find that sort of accurately depicts how I saw the Morlocks in "The Time Machine".

 

Most people seemed to think them apelike and shallow faced- I imagined them as hairless, skinny, depraved creatures that looked like they crawled from a sewer.

That's cool man!  Wells had a hell of an imagination.

Aye. Unfortunately, the "gorrillas" he envisioned really don't seem scary or creepy to me. Brutish, maybe, but they seem dumb and strong. I imagine them as clever and nimbile creatures, weak but smart and inhuman.

Yeah they "They dwell underground ...maintaining ancient machines that they may or may not remember how to build."

Love it.
