Microphone not working in DayZ (Direct Communications)

I've been trying to use my microphone but it never works when I use it in-game. Any tips on how to fix this?

Or is it just randomly working for people?

Works fine in every other game/applications I use.

Im getting this too, works fine outside of the game, and i can hear people fine - but noone seems to be able to hear me in game, and as people have pointed out time and again, i know its Push to talk! haha
