Can you Take Ghillie Suit off a Body?

Hey all,

My friend and I were recording some last night. When I killed someone in the Cherno church and he was wearing a ghillie suit. It never gave us the option to take it off him. We even tried take Civ. clothes off the ground then putting them on his body. But still, it didn't let us take his Ghillie suit. Is it possible to loot a ghillie suit, or any clothes for that matter off another players body? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks a bunch!

I hate it when people kill me for my ghillie. Then they don't even get it.

If you get killed wearing a Ghillie, you're doing it wrong.

No one should ever see you. Ever as long as you're wearing it.

My advice, keep civi clothes in your inventory, they switch with the ghillie package, when you put it on.

You're much less likely to be killed wearing standard civilian gear than the suit, and when you return to the comfort of the wilderness with whatever loot drew you towards the town or city in the first place.. put it back on.

Nothing better than being self-sufficient in the wilderness for days at a time, and you will eventually realize there is no real reason to go back to civilisation, after you get used to living off the land. :)

Thou I failed and got myself killed by a doorway yesterday. Found another ghillie today. But no water bottle yet, and no knife/map/GPS yet. Everything else except a ALICE/Coyote Backpack.

Soon I can go back to my lovely wilds again.

Personally I would much rather deny my killer the chance to loot a Ghillie suit than whatever small advantage civilian clothing offers in an urban environment. You get killed with that thing in your pack and congrats, Dayz gains one more douche in a Ghillie.
