SD Ammo in Regular Guns?

Hey all,

So I have an M16A2 and some 30 rnd. mags for it. In the description of the mags it works in guns like the M4A1, and M16A4, but nothing about the M16A2 (But it still works in the M16A2) Later on I found a few SD mags for it. But my gun is not silenced (and still isn't in description of the ammo), will the SD ammo work in my M16A2, or should I just drop it? And help would be useful! Thanks!
