Dallas 51: Death Hacker; Login glitch?

I wish I could have gotten this guy's name, I really should have studied the body (or just payed more attention)

I was visiting the southern most barracks at the main Airfield. I logged in outside and while moving to the waterpump, I hear the flies that signify a dead player. Upon entering the barracks I hook left to check the bathroom to be greeted by a ghille suited player pointing a pistol in my direction. I panic and fill him with 8 m4 rounds, 3 to the head. Nothing happens. I notice that the flies sound is coming from his corpse, and he is lootable. So I figure that it is the corpse glitch where they sometimes stay standing, and I continue to loot the barracks. Upon leaving, I head back to the bathroom to check him one last time for supplies, and I am greeted with 5 blasts to the head from his corpse, saw the muzzle flashes and everything. Killed me instantly. I then see the previously dead body lean down to loot my corpse.

I am not sure how or what happened, but all I can be certain of is that this guy was clearly dead one minute, then alive the next.

Again, I apologize that I could not get his name, but I am under the impression that he logged off right after looting me. On the respawn screen i saw several people leave the server almost instantly after my death.
