Dayz video problems

So i was playing dayz and i  randomly got the dayz has stopped responding message.  So I opened it back up and my settings were randomly changed.  The ui was set to large, which was fixable but what really bugged me is was spread out and my character looks really fat.  Also part of my screen is missing, for example I can only read half of the messages on the bottom left (I cannot find anything in settings to fix this).  And I noticed that I get the message "Cannot read material file: ." usually I get this with the lime green motobike helmets, but i just started getting it with the period at the end.  I have already tried reinstalling, and that did absolutely nothing. 

 

Please Help!!!
