walking/running toggle

For some reason my friend and I are having problems with the walk/run toggle... Every now and then it will automatically toggle for us and will only let us walk... we've tried double tapping left shift. And I rebound the toggle button to something else and it still won't work... Is it because we are both almost dehydrated and almsot starving in game?

If you are starving, you can't run. Also sometimes you can toggle Run/walk by Double shifting.
