very wierd running bug

Good Day everyone

 

I have encountered a very weird bug or glitch  :| .

See me and my friend were playing some dayz the other time

and i noticed he could outrun me while I was sprinting and he was crouching  :(  :(  :(  :( .

is there something i did wrong or is this a bug,glitch,... :huh: .

and will this ever be fixed or will any of you guys help me fixing this bug or glitch or whatever it is.

it would be so helpfull. :)

Was this on experimental?

 

It is probably just a speed bug, nothing to do about it, my friends and I often out run each other in the same running mode. Could be desync, could be wrong speed values, who knows. Only thing I know it is not your or your machines fault.

Just out of curiosity, did you have a weapon in hand while he had none? Also, were you doing a normal run or a sprint?

nope we had the same gun both a lee enfield i even had a lower weight than him so yeah adn we were sprinting my friend can outrun me while he is running normal and i'm sprinting

youre actually the first one that says its not your fps or ping because if someone has like just saying 300FPS he would run from cherno to NW airfield in less than 3 mins.

Depends, in most games the running speed is not based of fps speed anymore, but rather on your computers internal clock's seconds. And if I am correct the arma engine also calculates speed based on passed time rather than frames per seconds.

anyways guys after all i fixed it somehow i reinstalled the updtate and that seemeed to work for me thx for all the help guys
