more hiding places please

Maybe it was suggested before, I don't know. There are a lot of doors, beds and other tiny little places in the game which are ideal for hiding. Sometimes I hear footsteps and my first reaction is that I look for a place to hide. But in most cases my character won't even move behind the most obvious places for reasons I don't understand. I know that a lot of people only peer into a room and run away if they see nothing of interest and actually I'd like to use that behavior to my advantage.

 

Maybe you could implement a way to crawl under beds or move "sideways" behind doors and such things. Would be a great addition for my cowardly gameplay and also for the sneaky people out there. Thank you!

I like the idea, I also suggested something like this, but only with closets, not in general:

Right now, beds seem to be a little to low to go underneath, maybe if they add different ones.

could we have hiding like in Amnesia Dark Descent? So you go into a closet and it goes first person, and you can peer out the crack. As for hiding under the bed, again first person, and you can shoot your persuers feet if you think they are going to find you.
