I think we should leave the hard-to-remove barbed wire.

Currently everybody is so frustrated about barbed wire being so hard to remove.

But if you think for a second, doesn't this makes more sense?

You can't remove a barbed wire easily in 5 seconds.

It takes concentration and time to remove a wire.

I think the current wire is providing that experience.

Besides, if you were the creator of the wire, you wouldn't want anyone break in so easily.

About the griefer's wire, i think this would be less of a problem if the remove option persists.

Currently it's no use removing it for others because it would just come back after server restart.

I agree with you, don't modify how it is in any way, shape, or form except for the spawnrate; which I would personally like to see reduced by at least half.

I say leave the wire as it is, but make it so that it has to be placed on leveled surface free of anything that obstructs it in it whole length. That way you could not place them in doorways or staircases.

I think the current tent system works that way.

We all know how that went :D

I would really want to block a way between two houses,

i hope rocket manages to find a fix for these problems :)

FYI, the "barbed wire" in the game is actually Concertina wire.

Have any of you ever actually removed Concertina wire? When I was in the military, I helped install and remove it on multiple occasions, and there is nothing difficult about it. Concertina wire comes in a big hoop that literally stretches out and collapses like a slinky. It's very easy to remove so long as you have metal studded gloves (which I suppose you can say is what the toolbox contains).

The way the wire is right now, it is just plain broken. Placing it in doorways because you can't get the "Remove Wire" context menu, and arguing that it is alright because it takes a while to remove barbed wire is just covering for a buggy system that borders on an exploit.

I just came up of an idea.

How about we add something like force remove?(like in fallout)

force remove is much much easier than how you usually remove barbed wire right now.

Instead, you have a possibility to bleed if you force remove.

You can choose between force remove and usual remove.

Although i can't think of a way how to inform people that there's a way of removing without bleeding.

I always thought that removing wire was a dangerous job.(i mean.. they're spikey!)

I do agree that wire is broken right now.

Maybe we could make the wire easily removable right now, and rethink when there's a fix(making unplaceable inside)?

Perhaps the gloves should be added as an extra tool? Nothing better then more shinies to hunt for =P

Yep as it's very fun and appeals to realism when every building that has decent loot in Cherno, I come across has sandbags, tank traps and barbed wire, blocking everything.

Drop the spawn rate, and expand the context menu to the entire strand of wire (not just the middle bar).

I too agree that the griefer wires should be the priority fix before this suggestion ever gets in.
