Hello, i just bought dayz and optimized it like youtube guides told me to do, but i worry cuz i stil experience lags and FPS DROPS!!!!

PC SPECS:

-desktop

-screen resolution: 1980x108p

-Processor: amd 8350-Vishera 4.00GHz 8 core

Graphic card: amd sapphire radeon 7870 ghz edition 2gb vram

Ram: 16gb 4x4 gb corsair vengeance

C'mon.........jeeezuz, that's no problem at all. I'm running fx8350 and I NEVER have issues.

Unpark your CPU cores.....I'm too lazy to post a link....google it

It has nothing to do with unparking cores. It's strictly due to AMD's core architecture.

Then why do I have zero issues running Dayz if my fx8350 processor is to blame for poor performance?

I never said that you were guaranteed poor performance by using an AMD processor. The OP described that he was getting FPS drops and I showed him why. DayZ does not react well with AMD processors since it runs on a single thread. Can you still run DayZ on an AMD processor? Absolutely, but the game does not react well to it. Intel has better single thread performance than AMD due to core architecture.
