Server name on player list

Recommended Posts

Don't know, if this is already suggested somewhere (frankly, didn't feel like going through 100+ pages of suggestions to find out if it is ), but if so, please delete or merge this...

Ok, here goes. Somewhat small, simple but useful idea:

Would it be possible to have the name of the current server you are playing on to be visible somehwere? Like for example on the player list?

It's a minor nuisance, but annoying when you are playing on a server, the server restarts and you have no idea which server you were last on.

i am pretty sure this will come eventually, its just - understandably - not a priority at this stage of development

I'd love to see this, I recently lost a lot of stuff because I changed my clothing and in that exact moment the server restarted. Since I couldn't find it anymore all my stuff was gone :(
With that function I could quickly look up which Server I'm playing on before I log out.

What would be even better:
If the tab "history" would actually work!!!

This should really stop being the go-to answer for everything. Why take forever to do a couple "high priority" things as opposed to sticking something like this on the list and going "Oh, good idea. Annnnnnnnd, done. Back to what I was on."

Yeah, I think this should be fairly simple to do.
Add the server info into the playerlist.
Since it already HAS info from the server (who's playing, their ping, bandwidth, desync, etc)

it shouldn't be too difficult to just slap the actual server name (hell, even the server address) somewhere there.
I've noticed that the server info is now displayed on the loading screen when logging in, but that's not very

useful, when the loading screen is displayed for just a couple of seconds. Besides, I usually need the info

when the server is already "counting down" during the restart.
As stated before, the history tab doesn't work very well...
