Dayz Log Out timer

Is this still in the game ?  I remember a while back when you logged off you would sit down for 30 seconds or a minute after you actually quit the game.

 

This was terrific for combating , combat loggers but since I only play solo and not with any friends I have no idea if this is still in game or not.

Still in. If you see a combat logger sitting down, kill or knock them out, it will count as their character dying and they'll be reset the next time they log on to a server. Or if they log off a far distance away. You're a bad shot.

Ok great nice to see they kept it in and did not remove it after people whined and moaned about it.

As long as you log out in the middle of a road, field, or standing on a roof, you will log out immediately.

Yes :/. It has caused my death many times since the last update causes Dayz to crash. I do firefights with my group when suddenly Dayz will crash and my character will sit down and get bullets pumped into him. Also happened to me while looting and zombies ended up killing me. It has happened a good 10 times and I am really sick of it. Dayz is becoming more of a chore than fun now because of these crashes. I hope they are fixed soon.
