Bulletsponge (DayZ) 1 Posted June 29, 2012 Date/Time: Noticed it 120629/0500-ish CET, might be pre-existent.What happened: I was out exploring with a few friends and we decided to set a RV point/time when we noticed that everyone showed different time on their in-game watches. It differed +/- 30 or so minutes between all of us. A disconnect/reconnect resynched all the watches.Where you were: N/AWhat you were doing: Exploring*Current installed version: 1.7.1.5/Beta94209*Server(s) you were on: SE9*Your system specs: N/A*Timeline of events before/after error: We had been playing for 3-4 hours when we decided to split up to cover more ground exploring. When we checked time/place for RV we noticed that everyones in-game watch showed different time. A disconnect/reconnect synched up all the watches again. Skydive (DayZ) 71 Posted June 29, 2012 This time drift occurs on my server every day. It's the primary reason I bump my server a few times a day to get the time of day back in sync.
spankimus 71 Posted June 30, 2012 I noticed a lot of times if you log out then back in.. The time will move back a certain amount. I've seen this range from just 5 minutes to ~1-2 hours.
Maderas 12 Posted June 30, 2012 I noticed a lot of times if you log out then back in.. The time will move back a certain amount. I've seen this range from just 5 minutes to ~1-2 hours.This. The issue can go much deeper than watches' date=' and it's a [i']huge problem around dusk when some players will be seeing near pitch black and others will see everything as still being daylight. 1mpuls3 2 Posted June 30, 2012 I just created a thread similar to this but I forgot to mention where I was, what happened, what I was doing and all that so that thread will be deleted I'm afraid. Not that it matters, we got this one instead.Date/Time: Yesterday afternoonWhat happened: Three guys (one being me) checked our in-game watches, all of them showed different times. Also, they day/night cycle was altered, it wasn't GMT+2 at all. I've noticed this happening on server restarts, as if the server somehow loses which timezone it's in.Where you were: Far north. What you were doing: Hiking in the woods.*Current installed version: 1.7.1.5/Beta 94364*Server(s) you were on: SE5*Timeline of events before/after error: We were three guys on pretty much different locations on the map, decided to rendevouz at a certain place at a certain time when we noticed our watches showed different times.
