I'm finally comfortable getting the basics and hauling ass around the map to get setup but I haven't encountered many players yet. I'm in the northeast airfield just happily loading up when I go to grab a fire extinguisher sitting on top of the hanger in the NE corner. The second I pick it up my leg hurts and I'm dead. No sound, no description, nothing. Is this a sniper shot? Did I fall thru the ceiling? Did the fire extinguisher explode? It'd be nice if you could get a description of how you died, or is that the fun of it?

If I had a dollar for ever ruined pair of pants and boots from desync/lag in multi story buildings, I'd have enough to buy some new pants and boots. Usually I get lucky with taking only a little damage, other times I spawn on the beach.

server problems, everyone's had it, my friend had it and 10 seconds later another friend had it. The other day in the clock tower at novo i had it. i'm breaking my legs as i type right now and i can feel them breaking the next time i go up those stairs.

It does happen. A lot.

I just went up a ladder in Dobroe... shouldn't have done that. As soon as I reached the top end I was dead. And of course, my body was gone. A real shame, I had some good stuff with me :P

It's a bug. It could benefit from votes in the bug tracker so it gets priority! Happened to me twice over the past 2 nights. Every time you go up stairs, especially in fire stations, know that there's a risk your legs will randomly break and/or you'll randomly die with no warning. You did nothing wrong, this is one of those early access alpha things to know about - log/vote the issue and to be safe avoid buildings with known stairs that cause it. The aircraft control towers and fire stations seem especially vulnerable, possibly due to the steepness of their stairs. As a safety precaution you can go up the ladder in both of those buildings to either get the loot directly or see if there's any loot worth the risk of using the stairs.
