Viperus 3 Posted June 29, 2012 Im not sure if you can actually implement this but here goes:1. You shouldn't be able to log off 30 (maybe even more) seconds after taking damage. This would not only help PVP but also PVE, because its just lame how people pull a zombie train, loot a few houses and d/c with no consequences.1*. If a player d/c-es due to connection loss, write a string in a local file. The string could be matched with server data. (no clue what arma engine can and cant do). On reconnecting to master server, check for the local file. If no data/invalid data was written in the file, means the player pressed alt+F4. Delete that character and respawn him with no beans XD2. Destroy all items in 10m radius of player spawn point. Make loot reappear there 20 mins later. This would really cripple server hoppers who find a house and then loot that house in 50 different servers. Also, I passed all of my classes, so if needed, I'm willing to help with the coding. Tyrog 10 Posted June 29, 2012 That's not crazy. It's actually pretty good.

Rokor Fenix 143 Posted June 29, 2012 Good idea in concept, but with any idea similar to this, there are always ways for people to abuse the new system in one way or another. The sad thing is, no matter what Rocket does, it can never be TRULY fixed. Although this seems like a surefire way to drastically reduce the rate of abuse. Restarting your router (and possibly screwing up your brother/sisters internet) takes a few seconds + time time needed for the router to actually restart. @Rokor:Im not talking about hack such as dll injectors. Those are a real pain in the ass to deal with. Im talking about a way to prevent cheap tricks. People abuse these glitches because they are easy to do, with no repercussions whatsoever. Most people will stop doing it after they figure out theres a punishment for their actions.
