So today I present you the Ultimate Guide to Fix Lag in DayZ Standalone. Hopefully no one takes this post in the wrong way, I'm just trying to help out everyone that are having these lag issues. Thank you for reading my post. Here is the video. This post will be updated frequently based upon adjustments of the game and configuration settings. Ingame Method Settings:Objects - High or Normal (Players seem to be invisible from a distance with low) *thank you flygamer1* Configuration Method Codes:sceneComplexity=200000; shadowZDistance=100; viewDistance=1000; preferredObjectViewDistance=800;These can be found in your DayZ Profile in your configuration files (Documents>DayZ) My Computer SpecificationsGPU - AMD HD Radeon 7770 OC GHz Edition CPU - AMD Athlon II X4 630 Processor 2.8 GHz RAM - 6 GB (stock) System Type - x64 Case - Dell Inspirion Operating System - Windows 7 Ultimate HDD - 1TB As you can tell you don't need to run the game on the highest settings to make it look good. DayZ looks decent even with the lowest graphics. Also you don't have to have the best computer in the world to run the game decent, with these steps I showed you in the video you can hopefully play DayZ decently and more enjoyable!
