Little help for new players

Hy everyone.. I am playing Dayz for around 30h.. I am quite new player... 

i like the game,everything is good, except the fact that i am killed like 10 times... And thats nothing that worry me, but the fact that every time i die , its m4a1 that kills me.. I understand that its the best weapon etc... So my friend and me found m4a1 and mp5-k.. The problem is we dont have magazine.. We searched every airfield for like 2-3 days and nothing, not even a part for it.. I know the weapons spawn is crash sites, but my friend told me that he found parts for m4a1 on airfields.. So my question is can we get magazines for thos weapons on airfield if not where?

M4 magazines spawn at the chopper crash sights and as far as I know that is the only place to find magazines, attachments, the gun itself and ammunition. I've only ever found magazines for the mp5k inside of police stations or inside of police cruisers. Usually find them in the boot of the car or inside the doors of the car. Hope that helps

I found a M4 40rd MAG at an airfield earlier this week so it is possible they spawn there.

Really? That's good to know, I've been running around with a clanmate looking for magazines for his M4. Been everywhere from the NEAF to the NWAF and down to the other small military bases and as far south as Balota with no success, even devoted a day just trying to find chopper crashes. Thanks for the tip, will keep scouring the map because we would like to avoid server hopping

Roofs and ladders are bad juju, try to avoid them at all costs. Thanks for the thought though. We've found plenty of "scripted" M4 magazines on the bodies of fallen survivors but we hide the bodies as soon as we find them, just don't like the idea of using something so dirty

You have to realize that just because you found something at an airfield doesn't mean it spawns there. Someone could've had m4 stuff but found a different gun at the af and dumped their m4 stuff.

At any rate, it may be at a normal military spawn, but your best bet would be held crashes.

It was right after restart and I was on site. It couldn't have been a player drop.
