Finally had one of those "DayZ Moments" again

So i was havin a run from berezino all the way round the coast to balota, where one guy nearly killed me stumbling across me on the stairs of the ATC at Balota, needless to say my flee as soon as i saw his ass and quick evasive under the stairs confused him enough to think id run out the door, SKS triple shot to the back of the face, heart in mouth, calmed.

 

I decide having made a bit too much noise instead of wait it out for any curious bandits to come see what went down i sprint back up to the cherno side prison, close the door behind me, have a loot downstairs, nothing to great, meander up the stairs onto landing find a few nick nacks (and a paddy whack i think) finally enter the bunk room and woohoo a nice big ammo box pristine as all hell just for me, im stoked and pumping rounds into this bad boy but forgetting what just went down and also forgetting im standing up to access the box as its on a top bunk...

 

 

PEWWWWW i see the wall shard of concrete where a nooby sweaty handed bandit sniper misses by around a foot, i duck grabbing my precious box and try to find the guy using my sense of direction and position to figure where he could of shot from. needless to say im arse in mouth thinking am i about to get rushed by my victims crew or what.

 

head down to the main door and just wait, must of been about 10 minutes but felt like forever, i get cold feet playing the waiting game and open the door then make my escape, lucky for me, the guy hadnt got a position on the door and my break is a good un.

 

i decide to make my way through the barracks at the secret mil base, leading up to the zel mil spawns, and finally up into the NWAF, by this time, the servers on like 9-10 pm clock so its dark and everyones left barr 2 and the barracks had been looted, then bam a reset. i decide fuck it, i have had a little luck streak and got away by the skin of my drawers lets hit up a slightly higher pop day server  (im logged out around the north tents at the airfield by this point)

 

i log to a 15 strong server so medium enough to expect contact at nwaf, looting the tents yields next to nothing so i make my way down to the top eastern prison, inside is a few minor treats, nothing outrageous, heading up stairs i find ANOTHER ammo box on another bunkbeing memorable of my last encounter i grab the box and replace it on the floor and start to jam more rounds in, then all of a sudden, PEWW PEWWWWWWW some how i actually get hit crouched in the top of the prison (what confuses me the most was that i was shot IN THE LEGS ruining my old ammo box and a fair bit of ammo and my nice new pants) im unconscious and im like FUCK FUCK FUCK bloody c*unting kiddy campy sniper bastards how could they of even got a shot on (only thing i could think was they were on the tower on the opposite side to the west near the two warehouses) so my hearts in my mouth again, im mashing my keyboard to smithereens praying to wake up without a barrel in my face for the final blow....

 

 

HUZZAH i wake up no broken limbs and missing a fair bit of blood but not bleeding, i crawl along to the overhang of the stairs just in time to hear sprinting footsteps of my (now rather stupid) sniper. like a bell end he walks up the stairs looking to the room where he thinks i am unconscious or dead BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM goes the sks again lavishly spraying the obviously gutted guy, he must of been gutted, i send him off with a quiet "asshole" in direct chat right before i land a lasting bullet in his dome.

 

best thing was i had been hunting for a mosin for literally best part of about 3-4 hours finding nothing. guy only goes and delivers me a pristine one with compensator and lrs AND another ammo box.

 

 

And that kids, is why you should be friendly, and if you dont play friendly, never overestimate your aim and always approach your victims as if they survived. cos they might just gank you harder XD
