Server time and date

No matter what time of day I join a server, most of the time in game it is evening. Why is it like that? Often the time of day doesn't seem to correspond to the time stated in the server browser.

 

If I manage to find a server where it is not evening the sun still is very low. That why I would like to ask server admins, what the default date is and why they wouldn't change it!? Probably it is set to some winter day.

 

I would recommend to set the dafult date to a day in mid summer where there is a full moon: That way you would have long, bright days and playable nights and wouldn't have to reset the time with every restart.

Actually, I have the exact same Problem, and I too would be thankful either for an explanation or if someone can hint me on how to get on servers that are more likely to be regular daytime as opposed to late afternoon / sun setting.
