timedance 120 Posted July 8, 2014 Hello :) as I read here, that some have problems with crashes on latest stable 0.46 I tried a little with config and drivers etc - as for my game, I made it work, NO CRASHES.It looks like there is problem with the buffering in view of the landscape. You can go to your dayz.cfg (documents / dayz / dayz.cfg) search for: viewDistance=500; (I made it work with "500" - when you still crash, type "400" - you must try.)preferredObjectViewDistance=1000; (here you can try 1000 - when its still crashing, try "800") I know the optic of your view will be not the best, but there are no crashes. This was the first step. Second, it you have NVIDIA graphics. Download latest driver 337.88.DE-INSTALL NVIDIA EXPERIENCE.Than run setup of driver. Choose manual installation. Only select driver+physix and sign for "NEWINSTALLATION"Make it ready. start dayz. cheers.

Having it other way around may cause funny things to going on. No?

frosti 2165 Posted July 8, 2014 Yeah ok, but viewDistance is the distance that you see the "flat" hills and preferredObjectViewDistance is the distance where you see trees, zombies, players. So having preferredObjectViewDistance higher then viewDistance is not making you see the trees floating in empty space?
