A solution to disconnecting players under fire

Recommended Posts

It's simple really.

Lock the player life to one server only.

It would cause a little rage if certain servers go down or no longer exist but it would also fix server swapping for items and the person would have to reconnect in the same place.

 You could even put a bear trap where they DC'd

It would also mean you could run consecutive lives on different servers which many would like.

Yeah this is the most obvious solution, but most people have gotten into the groove of using this as a tool so they'll hang onto any excuse to oppose it.

I kinda agree with Metal. Besides, I like to be able to switch servers with my mates when our main one is down. It tends to be late on the updates, so with this, we couldn't really play when it goes down. You know, unless we restarted on a new server that had updated... which would be annoying... as fuck...

The fix is already finished and will be added when the game reaches Beta.
