smoothpie 2 Posted July 2, 2014 Hi there guys, I need a small help. I bought the Arma II Comb. Operations, becuase it was on summer sale. And I played it for a bit, and somehow, it isn't like I expected. I've been watching some videos of StandAlone, and it looks hugely better game then the mod is. But is that true. I really wanna play that game (standalone) but can you tell me guys, is it worth of paying 24 € for it, or it is same like mod. I've been watching videos, and it turns me on for that game, I just wanna play it. So here are some things, different then SA. In Mod you can't loot every house, and in SA you can (u probs know this) and it is just stupid for me. Then people in SA, when they see 3 zombies, they are like "Oh, god, there are sooo many zombies". And when we in mod see only 3 zombies per one house, or 20 per village, we are sooo happy. So I wanna see if it is really worth of it paying, because reviews of Dayz SA are just recommendations, and for Mod there are some unhappy people with it (including me). So yeah, thanks in advance. But out of all my friends that has, none of them plays it now unless SA is broken which at this point in development, is a rare thing. I would say, buy it. newguyzombie 122 Posted July 2, 2014 i played the SA first and then arma 2 was on sale in i made a try. so i tried the mod, after about 1 hour of play, i was extremly bored and stopped playing (dont know why). so i keep playing the SA even with the lower content and bugs its more fun for me. tobias winfro 305 Posted July 2, 2014 SA is unfinished but can be fun. I say buy it, however just be ready for game breaking bugs, a lot of KOS and missing features. Yes it can be a lot of fun, especially playing with a friend or group. No you dont have to participate in the shootouts in game, go exploring or look for bugs and glitches but if meeting others is your thing or looking for PvP I say go for it.The map has been fleshed out more than in the mod, most buildings are enterable.
