Sound in general - bugs that are doing my head in

Of course, I am seriously annoyed at how when it is windy, you hear noises of zombies, munching, drinking, and plenty of other stuff that is sometimes very irritating.

 

But what really annoys me is that you often do not hear guns firing. I was lying in wait watching another player that was 75 meter away from me who was being hunted by a zed. He turned away from me and fired one or more shots at the zed, but I heard nothing. At 75 meters??

 

This was either due to the fact he was facing away from me or the fact he was at a different elevation (about one meter higher than me, maybe two) - I have often noticed zed do not hear my gunshots when I fire at them from the second floor.

There is also an amient noise that sounds like a hard drive spinning for a second and its irritating.

I may sound like a dick saying its alpha and it contains bugs. But that is what dayz is at the moment. Those will be fixed later on alpha or atleast at beta.

The noises mean something. Maybe you're going insane from all of the players you murdered for your personal enjoyment. Maybe it's Green Mountain.
