Arma wont open and keeps crashing

When i run my arma through the short cut on my desktop it starts to load then just says arma stopped responding when i run using steam i get the battleye error about failing to update or whatever then the game starts up when i use dayz commander's launch dayz option and just have the launch parameters in but when i click something it freezes and i cant even close it it just stays open untill i restart my comp, i tried alt-f4 and task manager so i cant even play arma.
Im running version 112555, and also when i try to launch it with steam it says it needs an update or i can launch it so i update it and it just says to do it again so i launch it and it doesn't work
