You most likely joined a server with a separate database. For me, I have to join servers that are Public, Regular, and 40 man max server pop. I could probably join servers with a slightly different criteria, but I'd rather not risk it.

Are you rolling on stable or experimental? The week before they rolled .45 to stable, I was continually getting reset no matter where I went in experimental. It never bothered me there but if your stable character is getting reset a lot, I would be pissed

Got reset on exp, uninstalled beta, went on stable and got reset too. Then joined another server on stable and got my old char back.
