Fog horns, air raid sirens etc

Wouldn't it be cool if any old ships in the map had a working fog horn? Or airfields could have air raid sirens or there could be buildings with them in certain areas.

 

 

Basically so we could lure people to locations and have battles, essentially it could be inviting them or saying you are there, anyone goes near they die.

Someone with only the Amphibia might think twice about entering that airfield if someone puts the air raid siren on. Or someone with a Mosin might accept the challenge.

 

(they should have like 10 second timers or something though instead of being on constantly that would suck)

 

It would add an interesting layer of tactics to the game, maybe you just found a shotgun and two shells and you're starving at the crashed tanker, fog horn and wait for your geared prey to come with what you need.

Or once you know someone is there you could ask nicely(I doubt it would happen much...)

I love the idea of interactions like this! Maybe we could switch the sirens on in police cars! On non-destroyed cars their alarms could go off if hit.

Having an old-school raid siren with a hand crank would be nifty.

 

It would also be awesome to be able to set up some kind of light beacon for night time -- right now I climb towers and jam flares on them for this.

 

Perhaps this could be a use for fuel and generators?  Fix up a genny and add fuel and you can power lights at an air field and an electronic raid siren or something.

That would be cool... Reminds me of old duke nukem in the multiplayer maps there was a microphone you could put in your levels and it would broadcast..."Come Get Some". How about a church bell you could shoot and have it ring.
