FPS Problem... Please Help

I hate to post another thread regarding fps issues but I'm desperate. I've been trying to play DayZ for months. However, I've been plagued with fps issues. As of right now, I can join a server and I will have 40-60 fps. Within about 10 minutes after joining, my framerate drops to around 5-10 fps and stays that way. Quitting and joining new servers only repeats the problem. If there is any advice in how to fix this problem, please post below. Here are my system specs...

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo CPu P8700 @ 2.53GHzf

RAM: 6GB

64-bit Operating System

Graphics: Nvidia Geoforce GTX 260M CUDA 1GB

FPS is often also affected by ping issues. when I go on high ping servers i tend to have FPS issues aswell. check if the servers you join don't have a ridiculous latency.
