Lower Starting Inventory/Gear Amount

For some reason, we get I think 8 or 10 slots to carry things without a backpack.. I know that my pants can carry 2 maybe 4 things including back pockets if i dont want to sit down. Then we have the sweater vest that looks like it can carry like 4 magazines for a pistol. But where do the other slots come from? Does everyone have a military vest at home that has invisible carrying slots??

Maybe we should take it to the next level and cut down on the regular gear slots, max 2-3, then add bandoliers / clothing vests / suits like camo / ghillie which you find and put on that increase the amount of slots you can carry in your regular inventory.

What do you guys think of this?

Also I think that there should be a quiver for crossbow bolts that would be placed in your backpack, so instead of it taking up regular inventory it would take up backpack space, and only 1-4 slots, which could hold say 15-20 bolts? you might not understand what i mean so ill draw a picture.

p.s. i went to college for animations.
