I tried jumping off of a building to kill myself, because the apocalypse is too harsh for me.

I lagged out and rubber-banded back into a room that is unenterable (and unexitable, muahahaha). How do I fix this problem? Lol.

Try going prone and vaulting close to the walls of the room, hopefully you'll find a sweet spot that you can go through, fall off the building and die.

I've been trapped under a building and just kept running and jumping until I managed to get out.

If all that does not help then leave the game running overnight and sooner or later your character will die of thirst.

You could speed that up by sticking something on your running key to keep the character running.
