Vanilla DayZ/SA - Possibly some mods - Looking for heroes to play with!

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm Steve. Most people refer to me as Blazer, I'm 28, an ex Corporal in the British Army serving 9 years in a variety of Parachute Regiment battalions. I've been playing DayZ for a good two ish years now and ArmA2 for about four, I'm looking for a small group of UK natives to play on either Standalone or vanilla DayZ mod with as a hero group. I put my knowledge as an ex serviceman into play while playing DayZ and have been known to take it quite seriously when needs arise, I try to avoid firefights nonetheless because I feel this isn't what the game was about. For me, it was always the hero play style. I liked being the guy people could rely on, not the guy who shot on sight.

All I ask from team mates is that you have a good knowledge of the health/medical mechanics, long range rifle ballistics, a decent mic so that others can understand you and a decent knowledge of Chernarus. I have a TeamSpeak server we can use whenever needed and will usually be playing at nights between 6pm and 10pm GMT+1 (BST).

If you wish to join me, post below or drop by the TeamSpeak: ts3.ts3.me.uk.

Regards,

Blazer.

I'm not from the UK, but I have the same mindset as you.  Still would love to play with someone with the same mindset, and I'm down for either the mod or SA.

Where are you from? As long as you have a good understanding of the English language I don't really mind. The downside is that I'm Scottish so it's hard for anyone who isn't either an English first language speaker or has a really good knowledge of it to understand me and during hectic moments we really wouldn't have time for me to repeat something like hostile locations twice or three times.

Im from the USA, but 99% of the people on my skype list are from the UK or there abouts.  Been playing BF, CoD and other games with them since 2011, and I actually played with them so much I started to develop an accent. -.-  I have since lost it, but I can understand it very well still lol.

Yeah I reckon you'd be alright then :) I'll add you on Steam and we can play a bit tomorrow hopefully!

Still looking for more people to roll around with us!

Hi Steve, first of all, thank you for your service!

Me and my friends are regulars on ArmA/DayZ. We play pretty much every evening, and we are on most weekends. We are from 18 upwards to late 20's or early 30's. We aren't a clan or anything, just a group of guys that play and enjoy working together in a squad like aspect. I started playing ArmA/DayZ about two years or so ago, we play a lot of other games too but ArmA/DayZ is home so to speak! I have over 1300 hours myself, which has resulted in me knowing Chernarus better than my own town nearly!

Most of us come from MilSim backgrounds, a few of my friends are still involved in that aspect with the 16th Air Assault group, so we every now and then we run small/medium missions with ACE/ACRE, etc.. At the moment we are playing DayZ regularly. We tend to play the more vanilla mod/s more, mainly DayZero, and also other ones like Origins. We prefer the more vanilla/survival aspect, but from time to time we will have a laugh about on Epoch or Wasteland. We do play Standalone, not as often but have gotten more into it with some of the latest patches.

In total there is probably around 10 or so of us, but we vary on numbers. We usually have about 4-6 of us including myself. We all have knowledge of ballistics, weapons, tactics, and working as a squad. We have our own TS as well.

If you are interested let me know!

No problem, being a soldier was my life, thanks for recognising it!

If you guys play as heroes I'd definitely be interested!

Add me on Steam sometime! http://steamcommunity.com/id/RDODoubleGG/

We tend to play in neutral stance but remain approachable. We really only engage medium/large squads that are a potential threat. But players on the coast, individuals, and smaller groups we will help and interact with, but obviously not everyone is friendly, even when outnumbered!

Guess you could say cautiously friendly!

Apologies, I'm sure a lot of the lads would've been sleeping, me included haha! I'll add you in the morning, we can have a chat and see how it's going.
