can't target/pick up items

I can't seem to target items on furniture/floors to inspect or pick up roughly 75% of the time. was wondering if this was possibly a server issue or maybe a client issue or something others experience.....

nothing is more frustrating than bleeding profusely and not being able to pick up the shirt you're standing next to....or not being able to pick up a burlap sack or seeing a shiney new moto helmet and not being able to do anything....save maybe not being able to pick up the maps to figure out where the heck you are.

Try standing over it and pushing tab. I have this problem occasionally too and that works 9/10. Oh and unless you can translate russian those maps are useless. The road signs are russian the map is english.
