Way points ?

I know that map notes are global, But when you set a way point can anyone with a Map or Gps see it ? If so this needs to be fixed because that is just ridiculous.

All maps get it because everyone on the server are treated as part of the same team, don't know if Rocket plans to do anything about it.

Are you sure you dont mean the Mapnotes,where you can write something next to it ?

Cause friends yesterday placed waypoints,which shows you the distance and i couldnt see them,and they also couldnt see mine.

just shift left click somewhere and it will show a waypoint on your screen just for you.

Yeah, they are personal. And pretty useful. I hope they won't be removed.

I believe i read somewhere placing them down while in "Direct Communication" makes them invisible to everyone but you. I remember when Sidechat was enabled i put one down and everyone could see it.

Notes are visible by the "channel" ... but waypoints are personal (they are not related to the communication at all) and available only on certain servers (it's a server setting).
