Adam (DayZ) 193 Posted April 23, 2012 We have decided to open up this forum for posting bugs, but the threads will require moderator or admin approval first. All bug reports should be to-the-point, and posted in the following format (otherwise they will be deleted):Date/Time:What happened:Where you were:What you were doing:*Current installed version:*Server(s) you were on:*Your system specs:*Timeline of events before/after error:-------------*these items only need to be added when relevant (ie. no need for system specs for a purely server issue).
jordnz 102 Posted May 15, 2012 Guys, we can't stress this strict formatting enough. It makes it much easier for the devs to read through the bug reports and get the information they need to diagnose the problems.Being an Alpha, I'm sure you're all aware that there may be many bugs that the devs are currently ironing out, which in term means a LOT of bug reports coming in. We can't approve the reports unless they are adhering to the format in the above post, so if you don't see your report go up this is probably the case (Also, try using the search function first just to make sure that you aren't posting a report that has already been posted. It's much more productive to post in an already approved report with the information required from above and your report will probably get a lot more attention this way as people will already be discussing the bug). We're sorry if your report doesn't go up for this reason, but it's very important that you adhere to the format.Thank you for your cooperation.
ihax 16 Posted July 5, 2012 Just wanted to note also that your thread will not be visible until we manually approve that it meets the required guidelines stated above. So no need to keep posting your same thread over and over, just wait until it is approved by one of the mods. Thank you.
