Animals distract chasing zeds?

Recommended Posts

ok, so i ran past this cow while leading a zombie train though a feild and thought... wouldn't it be cool if the zeds got distracted from chasing me and went for the easy feed instead?

I think it would be a more realistic way to lose the zeds.

Imagine running away watching them all crowded around, and munching on some poor sheep.

Now, I'm not a coder, but it may be a realtively easy alteration for rocket. Like, say, giving the animals the same attractive values as the smoke grenades for instance, then giving them a simlar 'sight' activation range to the survivors so they won't trigger untill the zeds are kinda close.

Yeah, definitely codeable, definitely a good idea. Instead of chasing the thin human running away quickly, why not feast on a nice fat cow? :D

yeah exactly, like in the walking dead when they maul Rick's horse...

It could be an alternative to losing a Ztrain other than the hills and indoor AI bugs, and avoid 'ohherewego.jpg' once you're running from z's.

It could possibly be a source of 'fresh meat' for new characters who lack the gear to harvest their own.

When you going solo there's really no other way of healing big blood loss with out trusting a stranger for a blood transfusion.

I mean, to refresh 5000 blood without meat - that's a shitload of beans.
