How can I improve my FPS? Running Windows 7 on a Mac via bootcamp

Recommended Posts

Hello. I have been having some trouble running Dayz without having tons of fps lag. I am running Windows on my Mac Mini 2009. I have the lowest video settings enabled on Dayz, but there is still low FPS. Is there anything I can do to help? It is becoming annoying and I would like to play the game without having unbearable fps. My macs's specs are:

Processor  2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

Memory  4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3  Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo

Graphics  NVIDIA GeForce 9400 256 MB

Serial Number  YM917BG819X

Software  OS X 10.9.2 (13C64)

Im running Windows 7 64 bit. Is that part of it? would 32 bit be better.

I do realize that I will never have it running as good as it would be on a PC, but is there anything I can do to raise the fps. I don't really care about the graphics as much as the fps.

Thanks
