Looking for a populated vanilla server!

 

And I don't want one with 500 cars & 600 helicopters. Choosing spawn, starter gear. All that stuff. Just a completely normal server. Just 15 or 20 people minimum would be nice.

 

Anyone know of one or are playing on one?

The only decent one I could find lately is the ZeroSurvival.net 1.8.1 server, though it is 3rd person, it's populated most of the time, but also empty sometimes:(.

Finding a populated one with 1st person view is impossible...

US434 and US3480 are the most populated vanilla servers I know of.  Both are on the public hive.  434 is a bit more hardcore as it actually has dark nights sometimes where as 3480 is full moon every night.
