DAYZ - Bad version when i can join other dayz servers ?

HI,

 

okai guys i got this new problem im trying to join a dayz Epoch server but it says Bad version, server rejected connection :/ well, i can join almost all dayz epoch servers but its kind a irritating me

Is your dayz/arma 2 version matching the servers current version?

I am getting this exact same problem joining Epoch servers. Dayz/Arma/beta/Epoch are all the most up to date versions. Using commander to filter servers for version correctness and I still get the bad version error.

I have googled and tried the most popular 'fixes' - to no avail. Copying add-on content, settings within commander to force use of the beta, verifying local file integrity in steam, etc., etc.

Has any one else had this and actually managed to remedy the issue?

 

Any help would be greatly appreciate and beans distributed for any success.
