Ability to determine cause of death

I was approaching a police station in some town and I saw the body of a character dead on the steps. I wanted to go into the police station but wasn't sure how he died. If it was from a gun shot I wanted to leave, thinking the killer was still inside. If from a zombie I wanted to go inside and loot. I think in some cases this functionality could be useful.

Yeah, I'd like that.

It could be like the "inspect" function, which then describes the condition of the body, e.g. multiple gun wounds, Basic cut wounds (could be zombie or axe), no wounds (probably starvation), etc.

Love the idea, but ideally it would just be visible on the model...
