The Vipera Berus is widespread in central and Eastern Europe, see:

I know, it has been suggested before, but I thought that this idea deserves a small bump.

Having a small number of snakes roam around the forests would make things much more tense. Even if we never find them, just knowing that they are there would make it much, much, much more scary. Specially at night.

Also, it is in line with the general guidelines of the mod, realism, nature, a strong sense of place and no compassion with the players.
