I give up.

Recommended Posts

3hrs on servers in the Uk this Morning with no more than 3 players. Died at least 10 times from zombies aggroing through walls, seeing me from 100meters even though I was prone and generally making it impossible to do anything.

I figured I would raid Cherno, Elektro and whatever town was closest taking advantage of the lack of survivors but it was impossible, and I mean ridiculously impossible. I have over 60hrs logged in this game, and have had the best gear there is so I'm not a total noob. But this morning I felt like it, whatever I did did not matter. I would be aggroed and knocked out, broken legs, excessive bleeding etc... with no weapon to be seen.

I wont be missed, and I'm sure I will be told to QQ more. But I do love the game, I play solo, and I cant pinpoint exactly where things have gone bad but something has. DayZ is no longer fun for me.

If you can keep your brains when all about you

Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;

If you can trust yourself not to shoot when all men doubt you,

But make allowance for their shooting too;

If you can crawl and not be tired by crawling,

Or, being lied to, don't deal in lies,

Or, being hated, don't give way to hating,

And yet don't look too geared up, nor talk too much smack;

*

If you can repair cars - and not make cars your master;

If you can find tents - and not make tents your aim;

If you can meet with triumph and disaster

And treat those two imposters just the same;

If you can bear to hear the call for help you've spoken

Twisted by bandits to make a trap for noobs,

Or watch the gear you gave your life to broken,

And stoop and build it back up with nothing at all;

*

If you can make one heap of all your lootings

And risk it on one box of morphine,

And lose, and start again at your beginnings

And never breath a word about your loss;

If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew

To serve your spawn long after they are gone,

And so hold on when there is nothing in you

Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on";

*

If you can talk with pubbies and keep your virtue,

Or walk with friends - nor lose the common touch;

If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;

If all men count with you, but none too much;

If you can fill the unforgiving minute

With sixty seconds' worth of distance crouch-run -

Yours is Chernarus and everything that's in it,

And - which is more - you'll be a Survivor my friend!

*
