Suggestion for a mssion to make PvP a little more cautious - Ark mission

I had a thought on how to make it a little less attractive to just kill everyone you meet and take their stuff.

 

How about creating a mission for Napf where the aim is to get off the island by repairing an ocean-going ship?

 

In order to repair the ship it would you would have to gather, say, 20 unique parts.  The parts would be randomly spawned around the whole island and each would be found in a lockbox with the code nearby. 

 

The player carrying the lockbox could be killed and the lockbox taken, but unless the code is known you can't access the part and thus the mission cannot be completed.  Obviously the player finding the part would be at liberty to take the part out, or share the code, or draw a bullseye on their clothing.

 

The mission would have a time limit of, say, a day, and everyone on board the ship when the last repair is made gets a reward or everyone else gets killed.  Or something. 

 

To prevent camping, I would suggest that the ship would not be a safe zone, would spawn zombies, and firearms would be disabled.

i would be both surprised and disappointed if we'd see the addition of a 'quest and reward' system. it is a sandbox, missions and rewards are created by the players.

The mindless pvp gets boring fast. I would like to see some story, or a bigger map or something that is not about sniping and camping.

if i'd have to estimate, i'd say combat makes 1-3% of my gameplay. the game is what you make out of it.

Time to repeat what i say whenever i see these suggestions:"This games "end" is your own death. You do not "win" in DayZ. You never can. That's what its all about, you make your own goals, your own endgame."
